Pomegranate is a quite common fruit in Las Vegas. Usually, the fruit is cut into slices and served as a flower. In the city, it is very popular to drink pure pomegranate juice or cocktails with it.
The fruit is considered ripe when it changes colour to dark red. In Las Vegas, pomegranate harvest starts in autumn, from mid- to late September, mainly in October. The fruit remains in season well through January.
