Flight demonstration squadrons perform jaw-dropping maneuvers over Sanford
Dates: October 25–26, 2025
Orlando Air & Space Show takes place every year at Sanford International Airport as part of the Air Dot Show Tour, which hosts air shows all over the country. Drawing in thousands of attendees from the US and beyond, the show promises to deliver an exhilarating set of aerobatic performances by beloved flight demonstration teams and pilots. For aviation enthusiasts, static displays are also featured at the venue.
Airshow Performers
Thousands of people flock to the airport to see skillful pilots taking to the skies above Sanford. The headliners of the previous shows include the famous U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, the air demonstration squadron composed of eight highly skilled demonstration pilots demonstrating a mix of formation flying and solo routines. In 2024, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels demonstrated complex maneuvers, which kept the audience on the edge of their seats. Other featured performers include Michael Goulian and the ReMax Parachute Team. Overall, the pilots perform over 40 maneuvers during a one-hour program.
F-22 Raptor Demo Team has previously performed some amazing stunts at Sanford International Airport. You won't believe your eyes when you see what those pilots can do with the F-22 Raptor, the fastest and most maneuverable fighter jet in the world. During the past show, the U.S. Marine Corps demonstrated the capabilities of the MV-22 Osprey, a highly versatile tilt-rotor aircraft. The B-25 Bomber "Panchito," used by the US Army during World War II was also showcased at the show. Another highlight of the 2024 show was the race between the plane and the Cybertruck.

While planes soar over your head up in the sky, consider browsing the show's grounds and observing fascinating static displays. Besides static exhibits, you can treat yourself to some food, provided by the event's vendors, and purchase air show merchandise.
