Each year in mid-October, Cumberland County hosts its famed Crossville Oktoberfest, labeled the premier German-American celebration in the area. The fun-packed festivities have everything to make you feel like a German. The highlights feature traditional music, chicken dances, and the best Bavarian foods, including iconic Bratwurst, Schnitzel, and tons of excellent German beer!

Festival Entertainment & Lineup

Throughout the entire event, numerous musicians, bands and ensembles entertain the crowd with German folk music. This year, Rheingold Band and Frank Moravcik Band will perform the best of polkas and oompah music during the two-day run of the festival. The visitors are free to dance the night away and experience German authenticity at its finest.

Food & Beer

The menu features many traditional German dishes, including pork schnitzel, Weisswurst, Späetzle, smoked bratwurst, knackwurst, and many other dishes. The beer selection is impressive, with local breweries chiming in and selling a variety of ciders, spirits, and beers, all with a German spirit.

Tickets

Tickets to the event can be purchased either online or at the door of the venue. Both cash and credit card payments are accepted. Advance pricing is $8, while on-site, tickets cost $10. Children under 12 years old and active or retired military personnel can enter for free.

Schedule & Location

The merriments spread over two days, Friday and Saturday, with the gate open from 11:30 am through 9:30 pm. The event takes place at Knights of Columbus Grounds, located at 2892 Highway 70 East, 3 miles (5 km) from Downtown Crossville. Parking is completely free.
