Foodies of Vermont wait for this event all year! During 10 days in late April to early May over 110 restaurants of Vermont offer special prices, various dining and culinary events and promotions. Vermont Restaurant Week was first held in 2009, and the number of participating restaurants keeps growing. It includes popular places like Trattoria Delia and Leunig’s Bistro & Café in Burlington, Kitchen Table Bistro in Richmond, and Mad Taco chain. Other good places to visit during Vermont Restaurant Week include Middlebury, Montpelier, Waterbury, and Stowe.
The best eateries of the state offer their chef's best creations in prix-fixe dinners for $20, $30 or $40, and this includes three courses with an appetizer, entreé and dessert! Some locations also offer lunch and breakfast specials. Vermont Restaurant Week is a benefit for the Vermont Foodbank.
