Lake Willoughby is a wonderful lake in the town of Westmore in Orleans County, Vermont. The Willoughby State Forest surrounds its southern end, meaning this destination offers dramatic views in the fall.
Lake Willoughby is Vermont's deepest lake, surrounded by the fjord-like peaks of Mount Pisgah and Mount Hor. At its deepest, Lake Willoughby is 328 feet (100 m) deep and 5 miles (8 km) long. The views of these two mountains will be a great backdrop for hiking and relaxing on the nearby beaches.

Walking and hiking trails (100+ miles (160+ km) of non-motorized recreational trails) are also available along Darling Hill, offering views over the ridges and valleys.

Over 20 acres (8 ha) of family fun await you at the corn maze, located 16 miles (25 km) from Lake Willoughby.
