The Wales Airshow is a thrilling event showcasing an array of spectacular aerial displays. On Saturday, spectators can witness the breathtaking maneuvers of the RAF Red Arrows. Both Saturday and Sunday feature impressive performances by the Typhoon and the Royal Navy Black Cats. Additionally, Team Raven will display their precision flying skills on both days. This exciting lineup promises an unforgettable experience for aviation enthusiasts and families alike.
Events & Activities
The Wales Airshow offers an action-packed weekend for all ages, both in the skies and on the ground. From 10 am to 6 pm each day, visitors can explore a wide range of ground displays along Swansea Prom and Oystermouth Road. Highlights include flight simulators, fun fairs, and static replica aircraft alongside military vehicles, children’s entertainers, and vintage cars. Food and drink options abound, ensuring everyone stays refreshed while enjoying live music, demonstrations, and themed entertainers.
Swansea Promenade is bustling with additional activities, including VR experiences and opportunities to meet the airshow teams. Oystermouth Road extends the excitement with even more displays and entertainment, stretching from the Civic Centre to Brynmill Lane. The Civic Centre West Car Park hosts live performances, rides, and family games, complemented by historical plane exhibits like the Chinook, Spitfire, and Hurricane replicas. Military displays feature combat vehicles, simulators, and engaging demonstrations such as the Army Fitness Challenges and RAF Police Dog Demonstrations.
