Napa Valley Jazz Getaway is a perfect combination of wine and jazz in the heart of California’s wine country. The 5-day festival is held in Yountville, surrounded by picturesque vineyards, with concerts occurring in Lincoln Theater and other venues.
Talented jazz artists perform Smooth Jazz, R&R, R&B, and other genres. With a lineup that includes Euge Groove, Sheila E., Eric Darius, David Benoit, DJ’s Rick & Russ with CJ Flash, Marcus Anderson, Adam Hawley, Selina Albright, and Cecil Ramirez, there's a lot to hear and see. The festival, organized since 2011 by jazz musician Brian Culbertson should be on the bucket list of every jazz enthusiast.
In addition to music, Napa Valley offers plenty of outdoor activities like biking, golf and visiting the wineries of the region. Yountville is located northbound and an hour away from San Francisco if you decided to get there by car. The town is named after a pioneer George Calvert Yount, who supposedly founded the first vineyard here. It's a posh destination for gourmet dining featuring two venues with Michelin stars.
