Vail Jazz Festival runs annually in the heart of Vail, Colorado, and falls into six series between early July and the Labor Day weekend in September. About 75 performers keep jazz in the air, sharing an eclectic mix of blues, swing, bebop, bossa nova, hot jazz, and gypsy jazz with the Vail community. Beyond classic concerts, the event features multi-artist jam sessions, riveting tributes to jazz legends, and workshops.

Vail Jazz Festival Highlights

The Vail Jazz showcases world-class artists and talented up-and-comers, making for a comprehensively disparate lineup. Some of the program's highlights include Thursday evening headliner concerts at Vail Square in Lionshead, free Sunday evening performances on the Solaris Plaza in Vail Village, and the much-coveted grand finale Vail Jazz Party at The Hythe.

2024 Labor Day LineUp

The Vail Jazz Party, taking place on Labor Day Weekend, includes several headliners who perform in group performances and multi-artist jam sessions, like Matt Brewer, Ann Hampton Callaway, Obed Calvaire, John Clayton, Lewis Nash, Terell Stafford, Wycliffe Gordon, Dick Oatts, Bill Cunliffe, Curtis Stigers, Matthew Fries, Obed Calvaire, and many others great artists.

An Evening Session Pass and Afternoon Session Pass for Vail Jazz Party costs $100-115, a Day Pass is $185, and a VJP All-Access Patron Pass is $450-495.
