The Maine Boatbuilders Show takes place every March at Portland Sports Complex in Portland, Maine. The three-day expo features the best fibreglass and wooden boat makers of the Atlantic Coast. Visitors can see sailboats, powerboats, kayaks, and canoes. Dozens of booths represent manufacturers of boating equipment.
Maine Boatbuilders Show was first held in 1987 and has become a premier event in the state for all boat enthusiasts. It brings together builders and customers who can learn something about each other. There are also a series of educational seminars on subjects like mini boats in the ocean, electric-powered sailing boats, liferafts, dangerous waves, and much more. The show lasts from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
