Thunder on the Buffalo Waterfront Air Show is a much anticipated aeronautic event, which is held in Buffalo, New York, every June. The headliners of the two-day air show are the United States Navy Blue Angels jet demonstration team with their amazing F-18 Super Hornets and C-130 J-model "Fat Albert" planes. Other featured performers include the Air Force's F-16 Viper Team, C-17 Demonstration Team, Canadian CF-18 Hornet Team, World Aerobatic Champion Rob Holland, and a local WNY performer Rick Volker. The family-friendly event offers jaw-dropping aerobatics and lots of fun activities by the water.

Thunder on the Buffalo Waterfront runs from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The viewing area is located at Buffalo's Outer Harbor. General admission is $149 per vehicle, which includes space next to the vehicle to watch the show. $99 VIP tickets include reserved outdoor seating, a chalet to hide from the sun, catered lunch, beverages, private VIP restrooms, and reserved parking. You can also watch the air show from Buffalo Harbor State Park, where a $20 parking fee is charged per vehicle. Walkers and bikers can enjoy the show for free on the lawns in the park.
