With a rich history spanning over 80 years, Norfolk Botanical Garden has established itself as a cherished Christmas destination in coastal Virginia. The holiday lights display at the Botanical Garden has been recognized as one of the best botanical garden light shows in the nation, earning accolades through USA Today's 10 Best contests.

Activities

The largest botanical garden in the state offers family holiday programs that include visits with Santa, seasonal bites and delights, holiday crafts, and tram rides. Children can build holiday cookie houses in the garden on select days. The Garden has been brightening the holiday season for 30 years.

Dominion Energy Garden of Lights

Visitors can enjoy a magical walk through the Garden's spectacular holiday lights. This season, everyone can immerse themselves in more than 1.5 million twinkling lights. It's a magical experience like no other in Coastal Virginia, with more lights and surprises each year.

Value Nights tickets are $20 for adults and $12 for kids (ages 3-12). Premium Nights tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for kids. Note that Value Nights are from 5 pm to 8 pm, and Premium Nights are from 5 pm to 9 pm.

Barks and Bulbs

The Dominion Energy Garden of Lights is a cherished tradition in Norfolk, and this year's new feature, "Barks and Bulbs," elevates the festive experience even further. Visitors can wander through a winter wonderland adorned with over a million sparkling lights, intricate displays, and illuminated botanical marvels, all alongside their furry companion. This enchanting experience promises to create lasting memories. To ensure the safety of all visitors and their pets, all dogs must be on a leash and under control at all times. This feature is free for members and $5 for non-members.
