Newark 4th of July Fireworks (July 3, 2024)
Not far from Buckeye Lake, 12 miles (19 km) away in Newark, is an equally interesting Independence Day celebration. Independence Concert and Fireworks are held annually on July 3 with a grand bang. The free celebration begins in the evening with local musical groups' live performances in the Martha Grace Reese Amphitheatre. The fireworks show begins at dusk, so bring chairs, blankets, and picnic food to entertain throughout the evening. Free parking is available for visitors.
