Every February ballooning enthusiasts flock to southern Utah, where the historical city of Kanab holds its annual Balloons & Tunes Roundup. Expect to witness a magnificent sight of over 40 hot air balloons rising over quintessential South-Western scenery. The festival is usually held during the Presidents' Day Weekend, and the schedule features balloon launches on all three mornings.

The lift-off usually takes place at the former Coral Cliffs Golf Course in Kanab at 7:30 am. In the afternoons, visitors can join the fun on Main Street with vendors fair, live music, and lots of food that will keep everyone busy until late at night. The Balloon Glow is planned on Center Street at 7 pm followed by a Lantern Festival. The Battle of the Bands is another highlight of the festival. Three winners will perform at the Lanter Festival.
