DC Jazz Festival (DCJF) is an annual music event taking place in the U.S. capital during the Labor Day Weekend. One of the most beloved free summer music festivals in DC, Jazz Fest showcases a diverse lineup of the most acclaimed modern performers as well as emerging and local musicians. Held since 2004, the DC Jazz also provides free music education programs across many underserved communities.

DC Jazz Fest brings national and local musicians to over two dozens of venues in the city, including Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater and the main stage with free performances at The Warf. This busy waterfront neighborhood with many restaurants and shops is a perfect urban setting for the immersive festival experience.

Throughout its history, DC Jazz Festival has brought international, national, regional, and local artists, including GRAMMY Award winners and NEA Jazz Masters. Past performers included Gregory Porter, Samara Joy, Kenny Garrett, Charles Lloyd, Terri Lyne Carrington, ·Orrin Evans, Veronneau, Cindy Blackman Santana Band, Dianne Reeves, Emmet Cohen Trio, Patrick Zimmerli, and many others.
