Fish Creek Winterfest, a beloved annual event in Door County for over 30 years, helps locals embrace the long Midwestern winters. Held in Clark Park overlooking the frozen waters of Green Bay, this lively three-day festival features live music, delicious food, games, and entertainment for all ages.
Events & Games
Fish Creek Winterfest offers a packed schedule of events and activities for all ages. Highlights include the Fruit Loop Fun Run and the Stumpf Fiddle Contest, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display. The festival kicks off with the Winter Festival Parade down Main Street, followed by the All Things Chocolate fundraiser. The Smokin’ Hot Chili Cook-off starts at 11 a.m., with celebrity judges sampling dishes and announcing winners at noon.
Games at the Winter Festival
In addition to the downtown festivities, Fish Creek Winterfest features food and wine events, live music, and ice sculpture carving. Clark Park hosts quirky games in a heated tent, including Minnow Racing, Sasquatch Ball Toss, Toilet Seat Toss, Pirate Bean Bag Toss, Pie Tin Toss, Marshmallow Shootout, Wheel of Fortune, Paddle Raffle, Snowshoe Obstacle Course, Ice Bowling, Crazy Golf, and the local favorite, Bike Toss. Food offerings include brats, hot dogs, pork sandwiches, popcorn, and s’mores. Visitors can also enjoy sleigh rides and free trolley rides around town.
Schedule
Activities kick off in and around the large heated tent at Clark Park starting at 10 am on Saturday. A trolley shuttle will be available to transport visitors around town from 11 am to 4 pm that day.
