Balloons Over Angel Fire Festival is one of the many hot-air balloon festivals that’ll leave you with amazing summertime memories. Held in Moreno Valley, during Father's Day weekend, the festival features over 30 hot air balloons during three days. You’ll have an opportunity to observe a field filled with colorful balloons at sunrise and watch them ascend gently into the crisp morning air of the valley.
The balloon launches are scheduled for 7 am. Other highlights of the Balloons Over Angel Fire Festival include a golf tournament, a mountain bike race, and live music in Frontier Park on Friday night. The amazing Balloon Glow on Saturday evening features dozens of tethered balloons illuminating the night skies.
Angel Fire is by itself a breathtaking destination in the Rocky Mountains with many popular skiing, biking, and hiking trails, as well as Monte Verde Lake.
