​Cape Coral Festival Of Lights is a free community celebration with over 30 years of history in the Cape Coral–Fort Myers Metro Area. Held in early December, the festival kicks off the holiday season and brings some Christmas spirit to tropical Florida.

Festival Highlights

Cape Coral Festival Of Lights features live entertainment on three stages. Many attractions are free for the public! During the holiday, families can take pictures with Santa, try the Snow Drift Slide, and ride the Tiny Tots Train around Snowcap Square. Market and food stalls are set up along Downtown Cape Coral Parkway. Local businesses and craft vendors offer a variety of gifts and decorations for the holidays.

Kidz Zone

Free Kidz Zone, located near Del Prado and CCPKWY is available for families. Children can enjoy bounce houses and slides, face painting, rock climbing, and other activities. ​Many Florida kids haven't seen the snow, so they will definitely be excited to try sledding down a big pile of snow. The festival runs from 4 pm to 10 pm.

Christmas tree Lighting

Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony usually takes place around 6 pm in front of Big John's Plaza. Local dignitaries and major sponsors participate in the tree lighting ceremony, Many children have waited for the entire year to meet Santa arriving in a carriage!

The Holiday Festival of Lights is packed with entertainment, from local dance groups and school choirs to other performers showing off their festive talents. You’ll find tons of sponsors and vendors along the Parkway, many offering free goodies, prize raffles, and plenty of tasty food options to keep everyone happy. Known as the "biggest small-town holiday celebration" in the country, this is one event you definitely won’t want to miss!
