The festival kicks off on November 28 with the lighting of the city’s Christmas tree at Rizal Park. Following this, Panayegon sa City Hall will begin on November 29, offering nightly serenades until December 29. Key events include the traditional fairground attraction Perya sa Pasko, which will be open from December 1 to 27 at Rizal Park, and Music in the Park, featuring live performances at various city parks on selected dates.
Among the main highlights, five major competitions are expected to draw large audiences. These include Koro sa Pasko on December 7, a choir contest; Pasko Panag-uban on December 13, featuring a rhythm and joy showdown; Banda Dasig on December 15, showcasing marching bands; Sayaw sa Pasko on December 21, a dance competition; and Mugna sa Pasko, a Christmas costume contest on December 15, coinciding with the parade event, Parada sa Pasko. Finally, as December winds down, the Pasko Fiesta Grand Bazaar will open at Esplanade Park in Bago Aplaya, offering a lively market atmosphere with local crafts, holiday gifts, and culinary treats.
