With a big community of Western expats, the Christmas season is as full of decorations and festivities as it is in any place in the Western World, with, of course, the substantial posh influence of Dubai.

Ski Dubai: an indoor ski resort

Even though Dubai is a perfect place for those who don't want to be wrapped up in warm clothes during the Christmas holidays, you can still get a crazy experience with snow and arctic penguins. Ski Dubai is an indoor ski resort located in the Mall of the Emirates. It features all kinds of winter entertainment, including snow tubing, bobsleigh rides, sledges, climbing, and much more. You can buy a day pass with unlimited access to the attractions and meet the real penguins. Opening hours are 10 am to 12 am Sunday to Thursday, 9 am to 12 am on Friday and Saturday.

Souk Festive Market (December 15–25, 2021, unconfirmed)

Souk Festive Market is another Dubai Christmas event that helps you plunge into this fantastic holiday atmosphere. This market is spread across 1,750 sq m of the Madinat Jumeirah, turning it into a winter wonderland filled with Christmas spirit, festive stalls, train to the North Pole, and much more. On weekdays, it's open from 3 pm to 1 pm while on weekends, from 12 pm to 1 am.

Also, you can take part in a family-friendly Santa Run through Dubai Festival City, find a treasure at a festive market, sing along to a Christmas concert or witness a sparkling tree lighting ceremony in Dubai's traditional Irish pub in Garhoud. Everything is here for your attention.
