Each year the city of Geneva, IL, located on the western side of the Chicago suburbs, hosts a festival named Geneva Christmas Walk. This one-day event is typically scheduled for early December, marking a great start to the holiday season. The merriments start at 6 pm on Kane County Courthouse lawn. The highlights include the Great Tree lighting, the arrival of Santa Lucia and Santa Claus, carolers' performances, dazzling holiday lights galore, and the most special one: the longest candy cane! Feel free to come with the whole family and get into the spirit with your nearest and dearest.
The Geneva Christmas Walk festival is greatly supported by the Geneva Chamber of Commerce.
