Teahouse "Tetsu" is the best place ever to observe cherry blossoms. The iconic Tetsu treehouse is located at the Kiyoharu Shirakaba Museum in Hokuto, Japan. This cute teahouse, built of wood and stone, was designed by Terunobu Fujimori to be very simple inside, but fantastic outside. According to the architect himself, the tiny house looks like a home for a midget from a fairy tale.
The best time to enjoy the Teahouse Tetsu is during the cherry blossom season, which is April. Cherries bloom in Hokuto throughout the month, but the peak flowering happens over a week.
