New Mexico Wine Festival in Las Cruces 2024

New Mexico might be a lesser-known wine destination, but the state actually has a rich wine culture, which dates back to the 1620s, when the first vineyards were planted around the Rio Grande River. Over the years, the southwest desert has proved to be the right place for making some excellent wines. New Mexico Wine festivals have been an annual tradition, showcasing food, arts & crafts, live music, and the best wine-makers of New Mexico. The festival season starts on Memorial Day Weekend with the New Mexico Wine Festival in Las Cruces. At the end of summer, the Harvest Wine and Music Festival in Las Cruces marks the arrival of grape harvest season during the Labor Day Weekend.

New Mexico Wine Festival (late May 2025)

The New Mexico Wine Festival in Las Cruces draws about 13,000 wine lovers to Southern New Mexico State Fairgrounds every May. The festival, held on Memorial Day weekend, features over 200 wine samples from New Mexico's best wineries. The public can enjoy wine by glass, bottle, or case, with special festival pricing. In addition to wine, live music, and food trucks, attendees can shop for jewelry, fine art, and various crafts. Vendors are available from 12 pm to 6 pm daily. Any day ticket is $30 if purchased in advance, $35 during the festival.

Harvest Wine and Music Festival in Las Cruces (August 31 - September 2, 2024)

Harvest Wine and Music Festival is a fall edition of the New Mexico wine celebration, held at Southern New Mexico State Fairgrounds in Las Cruces during the Labor Day Weekend. Top local wineries present over 200 exceptional wines in addition to delicious treats from the best local food trucks, and excellent shopping for arts and crafts. General admission is $30 for advance purchase. Ticket price increases to $35 on September 1. The festival runs from noon to 6 pm.
