Jones Beach Air Show (Bethpage Air Show) 2025 in New York State

Jones Beach Air Show (Bethpage Air Show) is an annual aeronautic display held during the Memorial Day weekend at Jones Beach State Park in Wantagh, located on Long Island. The headliners of the air show are usually the United States Navy Blue Angels or the United States Air Force Thunderbirds. Vintage aircraft and various branches of the military are also represented at the show, which attracts up to 200,000 people.

Schedule & Events of the Airshow

Jones Beach Air Show takes place on Saturday and Sunday, from 10 am to 3 pm. The 2024 Jones Beach air show is set to showcase a variety of featured guests. Among them, the United States Army Golden Knights Parachute Team will mark its 17th appearance. Joining them from the military lineup are the U.S. Navy F-35C Tac Demonstration Team, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the 106th Rescue Wing NY Air National Guard HC—130 / HH 60 Demonstration Team.

Jessy Panzer, a well-known female aerobatic pilot, is returning for her second performance at Jones Beach alongside the American Air Power Museum Warbirds, Long Island’s David Windmiller, and the SUNY Farmingdale State College Flying Rams, who are set to showcase 22 of their college-owned aircraft. Civilian performers include the renowned Skytypers with their squadron of five vintage WWII aircraft and Mike Goulian, the most decorated aerobatic pilot in North America.

Tickets & Parking

Entry to the event is free. The Jones Beach State Park parking lots cost $10 and usually fill up very quickly. However, Nassau Inter-County Express (NICE) offers nonstop bus service from the Freeport LIRR station to Jones Beach for the air show. However, organizers offer Hospitality passes at Jones Beach Chalet if you want a premier viewing area. General admission, one-day tickets are $225 per person ($135 for kids aged 5-10). Entry for children under 5 is free. Tickets include a parking pass, entry to an exclusive beachfront zone, and food & beverages.
