Easton Garlic Fest is an annual festival, which takes place on the first weekend of October in Downtown Easton, Pennsylvania. The weekend family-friendly celebration takes place in Centre Square, lined with booths of over 80 regional and local garlic growers, showcasing different varieties of garlic and offering delicious garlic-infused foods. In addition, the crowds can enjoy three stages of live music and various entertainment. In particular, The Easton School of Rock presents five shows during the festival.
Easton Garlic Fest features cooking demonstrations on the Stinkin' Culinary Stage, specialties prepared by local chefs, fun contests, cook-offs, and live music. Don't miss two tasting events:the Gastric Garlic People’s Choice Contest on Saturday and the Dangerous Dessert Contest on Sunday. These events start at noon on the Pungent Plaza on S. Third Street at Pine Street. Other festival highlights include Table Iron Chef Cook-Off and Mayors Cook-Off, where the mayors of Easton, Allentown, and Phillipsburg face each other in an epic cooking competition. Other fun contests include the First Responders Cook-Off and the Mystery Basket Cook-Off.
The two-day Easton Garlic Fest runs from 10 am to 6 pm on both days. Admission is free.
