Oktoberfest Vermont is a beloved beer festival, which is held every fall at Waterfront Park in Burlington. Tickets for this event have sold out every year since it started in 2015. With the beautiful Lake Champlain in the background, the one-day festival is a vibrant celebration of local beverages and food. Oktoberfest Vermont features authentic German oompah music as well as games and competitions, such as a lederhosen costume contests, keg tossing, keg flipping, field goal kicking, football tossing, and stein lifting.
Oktoberfest Vermont offers over 100 beers from over 40 breweries. Samplings take place during two sessions, from noon to 4 pm and from 6pm to 10 pm. Visitors can enjoy live music from local bands like the Josh Panda Band and the Craig Mitchell Band. Entertainment includes carnival games, Wheel of Fortune, Plinko, 20-inch inflatable dartboard, and more! While you have to pay for food and drinks, entertainment is free for all ages.
Oktoberfest is a Bavarian-inspired festival with a "Made in Vermont" theme. In addition to beer, it showcases Vermont wineries, German-inspired food, and local artisans & craftsmen offering rustic decor and other things. Kids can enjoy bouncy houses and face painting.
