Door County, located on a peninsula between Green Bay and Lake Michigan, is known for its superb recreation. The annual Door County Beer Festival, which is held at the beginning of summer in Baileys Harbor, is a great opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors as well as live music, excellent local food, and beverages!
Door County Beer Festival features more than 150 beers, culinary artisans, and live performances in the picturesque waterfront location. Over 50 distinguished breweries and microbrews from all over Midwest present their best products and technology. Attendees can learn about the brewing craft at informational seminars by brewmasters, cheesemongers, and local chefs. There's also a chance for homebrewers to showcase their skill — the first Door County Homebrewing Championship.
The festival runs from 11:30 am to 4 pm. General admission is $50. It includes unlimited 3 oz tastings, live music, and a commemorative tasting glass. A VIP option is also available. The festival provides shuttle service to lodging facilities, like Baileys Woods Campground, Baileys Grove Resort, Baileys Harbor Yacht Club, and others.
