If you are a seafood fan, late spring is the right time to visit the B.C. and Vancouver restaurants and enjoy a variety of sea fish dishes

In early May the docks are full of spot prawn and the Vancouver seafood season kicks off with the annual Spot Prawn Festival.

May through September (or even October) is a great time for Pacific halibut and wild salmon too. Many restaurants in the coastal cities will serve some truly amazing seafood dishes. Check for the Ocean Wise symbol on menus to be sure you are served with fresh and sustainable local catches!
