Lobster Season in Iceland 2025

The langoustine lobster is brought from the northeast of the country, specifically from the fishing village Hofn, already mentioned as the host of a food festival. The langoustine season lasts over 3 months, from mid-May till the end of August. You can find all kinds of fish in markets and treat yourself with the finest seafood specialties. If you like the “hunt” and not just the eating part, you can fish for yourself because this activity is allowed until the end of September.
