Spring season means King crab in South Korea! Although these crabs are somewhat expensive, ranging about 80,000 Korean won (about $72) for a 1.5 kilogram crab in Gyeongsangbuk-do, you are in for quite a treat. King crabs are filled with distinct white "creamy" meat, so extraordinary that they used to be served in royal banquets only. Streets lined up with King crab restaurants are particularly popular in Uljin and Yeongdeok in Gyeongsangbuk-do, but other restaurants serving this delicious seafood can also be found in busy commercial streets of Seoul and Incheon.
