Barranquijazz Festival is one of the largest jazz events in Colombia. Held in Barranquilla, the festival features world-class artists. Every September, the capital of Colombia’s Atlántico department attracts dozens of musicians playing Latin Jazz, Salsa, Flamenco, Colombian Jazz, and Jazz-Fusion.

The Barranquijazz Festival stage will host Cuban National Septet by Ignacio Piñeiro, Adriana Calcanhotto, Adriana Calcanhotto, and many more great artists, who will create a wonderful atmosphere.
Barranquijazz Festival Highlights
Indoor and outdoor venues of Barranquijazz include Teatro Amira de la Rosa, Plazoleta Teatro Amira de la Rosa, University del Norte, stadium Romelio Martinez, Plaza de la Paz, and the Salon Jumbo del Country Club. The event is organized by Nueva Música Cultural Foundation, which opens the call for Colombian jazz musicians and bands to participate in the festival's artistic programming. The festival is aimed at promoting knowledge, culture, and learning through concerts, master classes, and activities to disseminate sound culture.
Festival History
Held since 1997, Barranquijazz Festival hosts a lineup of top artists, like saxophonist Benny Golson, trombonist Steve Turre, Spanish vocalist Buika, Italian trumpeter Fabrizio Bosso, Brazilian percussionist Airto Moreira, pianist Hector Martignon, Daymé Arocena, Papo Vazquez, Mark Walker, Dave Valentin, Roberto Menescal, Cris Delanno, Omara Portuondo, Jaume Vilaseca quartet, Rik Mol, Ray de la Paz, José Alberto "El Canario," and Issac Delgad, and others.
