Sandpoint Lions Club 4th of July Celebration is an annual occasion to salute American Independence in Downtown Sandpoint, northeast Idaho. The festival, presented by the Lions Club non-profit organization, consists mainly of a parade, filling the streets in the morning and fireworks at dusk.
Sandpoint Parade
If you're interested in the morning part, you can enjoy the kids' parade, commencing at 9 am and the main march following at 10 am. The festive route begins at the parking lot west of Fifth Avenue and runs onto Church Street, First Avenue, Cedar Street, and back to Fifth Avenue. But if you want to watch spectacular Sandpoint fireworks, come to the City Beach in the evening.
