Sea Sessions Surf and Music Festival is an annual summer event in Donegal, Ireland. A weekend of fun music and partying on the scenic backdrop of the Wild Atlantic Way is a unique experience that shouldn't be missed. The stage and camping area are set up on the best Irish surfing spot—Bundoran's Main beach. In 2012 Bundoran was listed by the National Geographic magazine as one of the World’s Top 20 Surf Towns. The festival showcases a unique surfing lifestyle, music, skating, BMX, beach sports, a Ferris wheel, and more.
During three days, the Festival features top live music acts and DJs from around the world. The Skate Zone showcases skate displays, BMX displays and parkour shows. Beach volleyball and other fun sports like beach tag or barefoot soccer are great options to pass the time during the day. There are also four local surf schools, a bike rental, and lots of fantastic nature all around. Rougey Walk is one of the most scenic trails to be explored in Donegal Bay.
Sea Sessions Surf and Music Festival always features great music. In previous years, it hosted Walking on Cars, Hudson Taylor, Gavin James, Primal Scream, Paul Weller, Tinie Tempah, Bastille, Seasick Steve, Example, The Coronas, Dizzee Rascal, Bastille, Tinie Tempah, Bastille, and Picture This. Sea Sessions is all about music, surf and "craic" on Wild Atlantic Way—what an excellent beach weekend event!
