North Adams Fall Foliage Parade, held on the first Sunday of October, is a great opportunity to discover the stunning nature of the Berkshires and enjoy some traditional entertainment. Held since 1955, North Adams Fall Foliage Parade features a children’s fair, a road race, an arts and crafts fair, and live music. Fall Foliage Festival runs from 12:30 to 3 pm.

The Fall Foliage Parade in downtown North Adams is the main highlight of the celebration. The 1.2-mile (2-km) parade route starts at the intersection of State Street and Old State Street and ends at the intersection of Ashland Street and Washington Ave. The parade features colorful floats, marching bands, and various entries provided by local businesses and organizations.

In addition to fun events and entertainment, visitors can discover beautiful fall foliage views in New England. North Adams provides a great chance to explore the historic Mohawk Trail, known as the first official scenic tourist route in Massachusetts.
