The Fall Foliage Parade in downtown North Adams is the main highlight of the celebration. The theme of this year's parade is "Berk du Soleil – The Greatest Show in North Berkshire," which allows the participants to unleash their creativity and flaunt the most imaginative costumes possible. The 1.2-mile (2-km) parade route starts at the intersection of State Street and Old State Street and ends at the intersection of Ashland Street and Washington Ave. The participants line up at the Curran Highway. The event kicks off at 1 pm. The parade features colorful floats, marching bands, and various entries provided by local businesses and organizations.

This spectacular celebration of fall can be seen starting from State Street and Old State Street. Most of the course lies along Main Street, which is one of the most frequented spots during the parade. Apart from the parade, guests of the city might enjoy a wide range of fall-themed celebration, which usually take place a few days before the parade. The entertainment includes children's parade, road race, fair, and a farmers market.
