Festival Highlights

The festival features a diverse range of activities designed to engage and entertain visitors. For families, the event includes midway rides, carnival games, inflatables, and a Bungee Jump. Children can enjoy a corn box, a petting zoo, and kid-friendly golf. Many of these activities are free for children. Adults can explore a variety of attractions such as tractor show and several competitions. The festival also boasts an impressive array of food and drink options, from classic fair foods to gourmet treats. A major draw of the festival is the Antique Street Fair and Flea Market. Visitors can peruse antique items and unique finds from numerous vendors. Additionally, the Appleumpkin Stage on South Evans Street will host live music performances, with various acts scheduled throughout the festival. Performances will also take place on three other stages around town.

Tickets and Parking

Admission to Tecumseh's Appleumpkin Festival is free, but there is a fee for certain activities and rides. Parking is available for a $3.00 donation, which will partially benefit local charities. Additional parking options include spaces across from the store or on the farm off Sutton Road. A free shuttle service, provided by First Student Transportation, connects the festival to Kapnick Apple Orchards, ensuring convenient access between the two locations.

Kapnick Apple Orchards, a short shuttle ride away, is an essential part of the festival experience. Visitors to the orchards can enjoy picking apples and pumpkins, sampling fresh apple cider and donuts, and participating in additional farm activities such as wagon rides through the orchard and Halloween Woods.

About Kapnick Orchards

Kapnick Orchards, the festival's backdrop, has a rich history dating back to 1958. Founded by Robert and Gertrude Kapnick, and later managed by Charles and Janice Kapnick, the orchard has evolved significantly. Today, under the management of Sharon and Bruce Shaffer and Scott Robertello, the orchard offers a wide range of products, including apples, pumpkins, and homemade goods.
