Monaco Run 2025
Run with the hare and hunt with the hounds by taking part in the Monaco Marathon
Dates: February 8–9, 2025
The Monaco and Riviera Marathon takes place annually in February or March. Although the race starts and finishes in Monaco, it also crosses the border between France and Italy and turns around in Ventimiglia. Participants run along the coast so that both runners and their supporters can enjoy pleasant views while competing. The Monaco Marathon is one of the most popular sports events of the year in the region.
Race Events
The main event of the running festival is the Mont Agel route through the scenic views of the Riviera, which covers a distance of 18.6 miles (29.9 km). In addition, there is a 6-mile (10-km) race, which takes place entirely inside Monaco. So, there is a chance for you to participate even if you are not ready to run the traditional distance of 26 miles (42 km). You can also take part in one of the fastest courses in the world, the 3-mile (5 km) one. The City Trail event spans 7.5 miles (12 km). The Pink Ribbon walk, aimed to raise awareness of breast cancer, takes place two days later.
