The premier beer festival in North Carolina, Brewgaloo takes place on the fourth weekend every April in Downtown Raleigh. A two-day festival showcases over 110 local craft breweries as well as food trucks, live music, and vendors. Brewgaloo, which attracts over 40,000 people, is considered to be the second-largest craft beer festival in the US and was named the best beer festival by USAToday.
Brewgaloo begins with the Friday Night Block Party, celebrating localism and craft beers. The focus of the party, which lasts from 6pm to 10 pm, is on limited releases of barrel-aged and sour beers. Many of the beers will be available for one night only. In addition to beer, attendees can enjoy local food trucks, vendors, and live music.
Saturday Street Festival is Brewgaloo's main event, which attracts the largest crowds. From 1pm to 9 pm visitors can enjoy beers from over 110 North Carolina's craft breweries, meals from 50 food trucks, and entertainment on 2 stages, featuring local bands. The festival is free to attend, but tickets must be purchased in advance to sample beverages.
