Reynoldsburg may not be the biggest city in Ohio, but it surely is one of the greatest when it comes to celebrating America’s birthday. The city’s administration annually organizes a cozy Independence Day celebration with a ton of cool activities, like the 4th of July at Civic Park and the Independence Day Parade. If you want to spend time in a breezy and friendly atmosphere with a busy program, Reynoldsburg is a great option.
Independence Day at Civic Park (July 3, 2024)
You should expect nothing less than a friendly and patriotic atmosphere at this themed festival. Visitors will be able to enjoy a live music concert featuring popular local artists and bands, a diverse food zone with mouthwatering meals and beverages from local vendors, a kids’ zone, a spectacular fireworks display at the end of the night (9:45 pm), and many other cool things. The free festivities begin at 6 pm sharp and continue for another 4 hours, ending at 10 pm. The event takes place in Civic Park of Reynoldsburg, so feel free to bring your blanket or lawn chairs. Plus, the city is quite busy this time of year, so we recommend booking your accommodation beforehand.
Independence Day Parade (July 4, 2024)
The annual Reynoldsburg parade is a vibrant celebration of America’s freedoms. The route starts at the corner of Rosehill Road and Main St. The procession then turns right on Haft Drive and left on Davidson Drive, ending at Huber Park. Parade participants include local businesses, community groups, churches, and school groups. Since its inception in 2008 as the inaugural event coordinated by the Reynoldsburg Community Association, the yearly parade has evolved into a magnificent celebration of the freedoms cherished in the USA. The Independence Day Parade has become an event without which it is impossible to imagine the patriotic celebration in Reynoldsburg.
