Keene Pumpkin Festival is an annual fall-themed event held in the beautiful Ontario countryside every October. The cozy village of Keene, with its rolling hills, is a great backdrop to celebrate all things autumn. The one-day festival starts with the community parade, followed by the great pumpkin weigh-off, with some entries weighing over 1000 lbs.
Held since 2007, the Keene Pumpkin Festival also features the pumpkin pyramid, straw bale maze, and various family-friendly activities, such as axe throwing, Maple the Milking Cow, and a raffle. Other highlights include The Antique Car Show and Dog Show, the Kid Zone with bouncy castles and face painting, the petting zoo, horse and wagon rides, and the Hot Diggity Dog performances.
The Keene Pumpkin Festival hosts a vibrant marketplace with various commercial and food vendors, decorated pumpkins, indigenous art displays, and the Lions Pub with live music. So immerse yourself in the country charm and sheer hospitality in Keene, enjoying a fall day outdoors with friends and family!
