The City at New Year's Eve at Perth Cultural Centre marks the major celebration in Perth. Visitors can come and celebrate the end of the year on December 31 from 6 pm to midnight. The exciting street program for all ages features circus performances, kids workshops, roving acts, various installations, and the Christmas Lights Trail. After a fun evening, the countdown to 2021 begins ending with a magnificent fireworks display at 9 pm and midnight. The best firework viewing spots are Perth Cultural Centre, Yagan Square, James Street (between William and Lake Street), and William Street (between Francis and Roe Street).

The list of NYE parties in Perth is endless. The Camfield, Australia's biggest pub, hosts a huge NYE bash on December 31 with live entertainment from Boston Switch and DJ Mizhap. Half-price drinks at The Camfield from 7 to 8 pm are a good reason to start early! New Year's Eve at Prince Lane is a party on a whole new level...or rather three levels! The higher the level, the bigger the party, and, well, the costlier the ticket. Public Bar is a space for casual drinks with friends and family, with a ticket price ranging between $10–15. The Glamour Bar $99–105 ticket includes live entertainment, drinks package, and roaming canapes. NYE cruises
New Year's Eve Cruise is a superb way to say goodbye to 2020. Captain Cook Cruises runs an 18+ Swan River journey with a buffet dinner and midnight fireworks over the Perth skyline. Drinks and DJ music will surely add some twist to the night! Pirate Ship Mandurah welcomes on board the crew of young and old to sail the high seas. The Pirate adventure takes them on a Christmas Lights Tour that culminates with the 9 pm fireworks. Those who don't enjoy partying with strangers can hire a private charter with Exclusive Charters or any other company. Entertainment, food, and drinks can be arranged upon request; thus, prices depend on the final deal.
