Besides traditional beaches, Toronto Island boasts a nude beach named Hanlan's Point. The local contingent consists of people aged between mid to late 60's, and also curious 20 somethings seeking new impressions. As for casual beaches, there are plenty of them. You can visit long and sandy Bluffer’s Beach right at the foot of the Scarborough Bluffs. The family-friendly Centre Island beach not far from ferry docks offers nice views of the city's skyline. Rocky Cherry beach is good for water sports. If you visit Toronto in the summer, don't hesitate to check out some of the favourite local relaxation spots.
