Sleeping Giant Zipline in Yellowstone National Park 2025

This scenic ride is a fascinating summer activity

Best time: mid-June–mid-September

The Sleeping Giant Zipline is one of the most exciting activities to try out during summer. It is located only a few minutes away from Yellowstone National Park.

Flying over the Shoshone forest and marvelling the beauty of the Absaroka mountain range will leave you with lots of wows to tell about later. The total length of the line is over 1,073 metres with a vertical drop of around 25 m.

The zipline features dual lines in five different sections that range from 109 to 283 m. There are six arrival/departure platforms, one of which also serves as the free jump spot. Ten people can experience a ride at a time. For those who would like to enjoy the full ride, it will take an hour and a half. Although it is not the biggest zipline in the US, its breathtaking views won't leave you indifferent. The zipline is open daily from the 15th of June until the 15th of September.
