Garden of Dreams was created in early 1900s by the Field Marshal Kaiser Sumsher Rana of the Royal Nepalese Army. Designed in Edwardian style, it was one of the best private gardens in the country—a perfect ensemble of pavilions, fountains, pergolas, balustrades, and birdhouses. There are six beautiful pavilions, dedicated to six seasons of Nepal. After the death of Kaiser Sumsher, the garden was passed to the state and neglected. Only in 2007, it was renovated with the support government of Austria.

This neo-classical historical garden is probably the best place to escape the heat, noise and hustle of the big city. It's a peaceful oasis full of unique flowers brought from the different countries. Garden of Dreams is beautiful in any season as it is planned to please the eye all year round. However, the full bloom can be observed during spring and early summer.
