The sun, the ocean and the beach can definitely boost your appetite. So South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF) presents a perfect occasion to indulge in masterpieces created by celebrity chefs. Every year, this five-day February event attracts many of the big names in the food and beverage industry, from celebrity sommeliers to chefs and culinary personalities. Since it has started, the fest has grown into a world of tastings, seminars, brunches, dinners, lunches, and parties.
You can start with Burger Bash or the Boozy Events which started as a humble wine dinner, and has grown into a full-fledged party. With the rise of popularity of craft cocktails it's one of the must-go to events of the fest.
South Beach Wine & Food Festival is attended by 65, 000 people annually. Many events are held on Lincloln Road, Miami Beach, with other events spanning through Miami-Dade county, Broward and Palm Beach. The festival features over 110 events dedicated to chefs and culinary personalities, wine and spirits. The festival is hosted by Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits and Florida International University Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management. More than 1,000 students of FIU participate in the Festival which has become an educational platform. The festival has been working with FIU since 1997.
