The revelry in Riverview Park features live music, concerts, performances, and vendors offering lots of delicious foods. One of the highlights is a Grand Parade, stretching from Monmouth to Independence, and a rubber ducky derby on the Willamette River. Still, the best part of the celebration is always dramatic fireworks displays, scheduled for 10 pm. The fireworks are held over the Willamette River on July 3 within a Hometown Celebration and July 4 within the Independence Days Celebration.
