According to the organizers, confirmed acts include Joy Guidry, Susana Santos Silva & Fred Frith, Muqata’a, Mike Ladd’s Afterfuture Tape-Loop, Bill Orcutt, ExpéKa Sextet, and Nubiyan Twist. Notable ensembles like Jupiter & Okwess International and Arat Kilo will also perform, offering audiences an opportunity to explore the intersections of traditional and contemporary music.

The festival will unfold across 11 cities in Seine-Saint-Denis, with venues including the iconic Dynamo in Pantin. As the organizers note, the Dynamo has become a hub for improvisational and jazz music, hosting intimate yet dynamic performances. Tickets for Banlieues Bleues 2025 are set to go on sale in January 2025. General admission starts at €20, with discounts available for seniors, students, and residents of Seine-Saint-Denis. Reduced prices include €16 for those aged 65 and older and €12 for individuals under 26 or purchasing a festival pack of four or more concerts. For the first time, the festival is introducing the BB Pass, offering unlimited access to all concerts for €120.

History
Banlieues Bleues was established in 1984 by the Banlieues Bleues association, supported by multiple municipalities in Seine-Saint-Denis. Jacques Pornon founded the festival, and Xavier Lemettre currently serves as its artistic director. Over the years, Banlieues Bleues has hosted renowned artists like Dizzy Gillespie, McCoy Tyner, and Bill Frisell, cementing its reputation as a leading event for jazz and innovative music.
