This year, the new ZooLights show will dazzle visitors of all ages with its vibrant visuals and enchanting music.

Event Highlights

Every holiday season, visitors to the Phoenix Zoo can immerse themselves in the festive spirit as millions of sparkling lights turn the Zoo into a breathtaking display. Wander through the illuminated pathways that meander past animal habitats and Zoo trails. ZooLights typically includes beautifully crafted lighted animal sculptures and a Wildlife Lantern Safari, showcasing an array of glowing animal lanterns.

Activities

Cozy up with delectable treats at the s'mores pits and savor hot cocoa while soaking in the festive atmosphere. Take a leisurely walk through the extended light tunnel, capture a memorable photo with Santa, and relish the chance to create cherished moments in a magical setting. Enjoy live music and performances by talented artists as part of the festivities. Attend the Lake Lights Show, a captivating spectacle featuring a 50-foot LED tree set to music with dazzling synchronized imagery that enhances the experience. Step into the Zoo’s Glow Garden, where vibrant, glowing attractions await, including an interactive dance floor and mesmerizing glow swings that add a touch of whimsy to the night.

Cruise ZooLights

For those interested in a unique experience, Cruise ZooLights is offered on November 10, 11, and 12, and January 13 and 14. Enjoy the light display from your car, featuring a 200-foot light tunnel, millions of twinkling lights, and musical light shows on the main lake. Separate tickets are required for this event.

Tickets & Schedule

In 2024, ZooLights will run from Wednesday, November 27, through Sunday, January 12. The lights illuminate the Zoo nightly from 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm, with the last entry at 9:30 pm. Tickets will be available for purchase starting October 1. General admission tickets for ZooLights are available online for $30, with members receiving a discount of $5. Tickets can also be purchased at the gate for $35 for general admission and $30 for members. Children aged two and under can enter for free. Cruise ZooLights tickets cost $150 per general vehicle.
