Hamburg Fairgrounds Festival of Lights runs on weekends throughout December. The beauty of a Buffalo-area winter is enhanced by stunning lights attracting thousands of people. The holiday experience would not be complete without a visit to Santa in the North Pole. Kids would also love Kandy Kane's Holiday Magic Show, interactive games and rides, and Kids Craft Area. However, this year things are slightly different: Festival of Lights 2020 Style Drive Through is a drive-thru only event to follow the safety guidelines.
The 2020 Drive Through route encompasses 50 acres (20 ha) of the Fairgrounds with about 70 varieties of holiday lights, arches, and light tunnels. Some traditional events like Drive Safe Forest and Can Creations will take place at people's homes and offices this year.
Hamburg is a town within Erie County, New York, about a 45-minute drive to Niagara Falls. The light festival is located on its large and renovated Fairgrounds and around the buildings along 42nd Street.
