Hamburg Fairgrounds Festival of Lights runs on selected dates from late November throughout December. The beauty of a Buffalo-area winter is enhanced by stunning lights, shining brightly from 5 pm through 9 pm, with some buildings staying aglow till 10 pm. The festive display attracts thousands of people for two kinds of experience. You can opt for the full option, including drive-thru and walk-around on 42nd Street or choose a drive-thru only. The prices are $30 and $20 per carload correspondingly. If you want to buy tickets, scroll down to External Resources and follow the link.
Beyond Christmas lights, the Hamburg Fairgrounds Festival would be merely incomplete without a visit to Santa in the North Pole. Kids adore Kandy Kane's Holiday Magic Show, interactive games and rides, and Kids Craft Area.
Hamburg is a town within Erie County, New York, about a 45-minute drive to Niagara Falls. The light festival is located on its large and renovated Fairgrounds and around the buildings along 42nd Street. The entrance to the event is off of McKinley Pkwy.
