You will need a 4WD vehicle to drive up there since dirt roads require a high-clearance.
Prewitt Ridge offers a few hiking trails with epic views. If you prepare to stay long, bring a lot of water since the place is very dry. The campground doesn't have a trash collector, so prepare to take back everything you bring in.
