Lawn Mower Racing World Championships 2024 in England

Most people think that these machines are good only for keeping the lawn in good shape. But they can do a lot more. The British Lawn Mower Racing Association presents new opportunities for these machines to show themselves. The World Championships is usually held in England in September or October, with some exceptions, and the location changes every year.

Championship Rules

The World Championship usually takes place over the weekend, with two days of heated races and emotions at an all-time high. Each of the four groups has its own rules and regulations, as well as a separate Championship, which culminates in the World Championship. This year, the competition took place at Pondfield Farm in the village of Alford in Surrey.

Lawn Mover Competition

Enthusiasts from all over the world come to participate in the event. There are four groups, each of which has its own Championship, which consists of 10 or 15 laps. The final competition features a series of heats and points counting over the two-day race weekend. In the UK, there are also the British Championship, the British Grand Prix, the Endurance Championship, and other similar events.
