York Food Festival was meant to celebrate local food and drink. The event lasts for ten days at the end of September and is a not-for-profit organization, which means that any money made from ticket sales goes back into the festival make it better year after year.
Each festival found its place in the heart of the city centre, Parliament Street and St Sampson's Square, and now gathers over 440,000 of visitors.
The unique or different product is the principal condition for a trader who decided to take part in the event. The festival represents free markets and demos as well as specific events at various prices. Those include dinners, wine tastings, trails, etc.
